A law firm in Detroit is currently seeking a Corporate and Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing office. The ideal candidate will bring excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team. Large law firm experience, along with a demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and client relationships, is highly desirable. Clerkship experience is considered a plus.

 

Duties:

  • Work on both corporate and litigation matters within the firm.
  • Independently manage projects and client relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a small and dynamic team.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.
  • Draft legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Assist in courtroom proceedings, if necessary.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar and eligibility to practice law in Michigan.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

 

Skills:

  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Large law firm experience.
  • Clerkship experience is a plus.
