A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Products Litigation Associate Attorney with 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in product liability, medical malpractice, medical devices, and pharmaceutical litigation. They should also demonstrate strong academic credentials, exceptional writing skills, experience preparing for trials and depositions, and a willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on product liability, medical malpractice, medical devices, and pharmaceutical litigation cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Assist senior attorneys in case preparation, including trial preparation, deposition preparation, and client meetings.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia or eligibility for admission by motion.
  • Have 2+ years of experience in product liability, medical malpractice, medical devices, and pharmaceutical litigation.
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure and evidence rules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certification in product liability or medical malpractice law (if applicable).
