A law firm in Falls Church, VA is seeking a dedicated Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in or a strong desire to specialize in family law and/or immigration law. This role requires managing a high volume of client cases while providing exceptional professional service. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of client cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide professional and client-focused legal services in family law and/or immigration law.
  • Represent clients in family law matters such as divorce, child custody, and support.
  • Handle immigration law cases including visa applications, asylum, and deportation defense.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and legal practices.

Requirements:

  • Initial experience in family law and/or immigration law is strongly preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing.
  • Capable of managing a high volume of client cases and providing excellent client service.
  • Strong background or a strong desire to specialize in family law and/or immigration law.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Virginia.
