Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to manage and oversee complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in drafting legal documents, providing strategic counsel, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Effectively communicating, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, and third parties
• Producing deliverables promptly and maintaining responsiveness to client needs
• Ensuring timely and accurate completion of work products
• Meeting deadlines and fulfilling job expectations as required
• Building and maintaining positive relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders
• Adhering to firm policies and practices
• Engaging in a mix of physical and sedentary activities, including computer work and virtual meetings
• Performing additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney
• Proven experience drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail
• Sound business judgment and excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in research and problem-solving
• Demonstrated conceptual thinking and ability to influence others
• Persuasive communication skills and effective management capabilities
• Strong project management skills

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Arizona State Bar
