Job Overview: A well-established law firm in the San Fernando Valley is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney for its Trust and Estate Planning Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, and advising on estate, gift, and property tax issues. Duties:

  • Assist with the administration of trusts and decedent’s estates.
  • Advise clients on estate, gift, and property tax issues.
  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.
  • Manage client relationships and offer legal counsel on trust and estate matters.
  • Handle all aspects of the trust administration process.
  • Work closely with clients, other attorneys, and support staff to ensure smooth case management.
  • Manage a challenging and diverse workload while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, and related tax issues.
  • Licensed to practice law in California (CA Bar).
  • Strong academic background and excellent writing skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Proven ability to take on significant responsibility and work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Must be in good standing with the California State Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • California Bar License (Required).
