This position presents an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in immigration law, particularly in handling removal cases, asylum, family-based adjustments, and naturalization cases. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish (both written and spoken) and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of client communication and case management.

Duties:

• Represent clients in immigration matters including removal defense, asylum cases, family-based adjustments, and naturalization applications.
• Prepare and file necessary documentation with USCIS and Immigration Court.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely progress and resolution of cases.
• Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case status and provide legal advice.
• Appear in Immigration Court for hearings and proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and provide guidance when necessary.
• Perform other legal tasks as required, including reviewing client documents and conducting legal research.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as an Immigration Attorney, especially in handling removal, asylum, and family-based adjustment cases.
• Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is a must.
• Strong understanding of immigration law and procedures.
• Ability to work independently, managing a high-volume caseload.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Willingness to travel to USCIS offices and Immigration Court as required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in at least one state (preferably New York).
