Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to work on a wide variety of litigation matters on behalf of public agency clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of litigation processes and demonstrate exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court and during mediation proceedings.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case preparation and strategy development.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Provide clients with legal advice and updates on case progress.
• Assist in the development of trial strategies and presentations.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of litigation experience.
• Proven experience representing public agency clients is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California.
