Duties:

  • Draft, negotiate, and close complex finance agreements and real estate-secured loan transactions
  • Conduct due diligence for financing transactions, ensuring all legal requirements are met
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective legal strategies and solutions
  • Provide counsel on legal risks, obligations, and compliance matters related to finance and bankruptcy law
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams
  • Prepare and review legal documentation related to real estate and finance law
  • Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality legal standards
  • Stay updated on developments in finance, bankruptcy, and restructuring law

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of general finance experience or specific expertise in documenting, negotiating, and closing real estate-secured loans
  • Strong academic background with excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide top-tier service
  • Must be licensed or eligible for immediate licensure in the state of Colorado

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in good standing in the state of Colorado (or eligibility for immediate licensure)

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of finance law, including real estate-secured lending and bankruptcy procedures
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
