The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics. They will possess well-developed skills in patent application preparation and prosecution, with specific experience in wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution.

Duties:

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications, including drafting claims, specifications, and responses to office actions.
  • Conduct technical analysis related to wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
  • Manage patent portfolios, including patentability assessments and prior art searches.
  • Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and clients to develop patent strategies and support intellectual property needs.
  • Review and analyze patent documents and technical literature to support patent applications.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide technical and legal advice on patent-related matters and intellectual property issues.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, and other professional activities as required.
  • Stay updated on advancements in technology and changes in patent law and practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in patent prosecution.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • Proven experience with patent preparation and prosecution.
  • Technical experience with wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, attorneys, and technical professionals.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.

Certifications:
