Job Overview:

A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its team. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of litigation, managing client files, and communicating with clients daily. This role involves preparing and reviewing legal documents, developing litigation strategies, and drafting various legal forms. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of personal injury experience, with trial experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution.
• Handle and manage client files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Communicate with clients daily, providing updates and acquiring necessary information.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery.
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Draft and respond to legal motions and discovery requests.
• Handle and defend depositions and represent clients during trial and arbitration.
• Conduct client meetings as directed by the firm.
• Make court appearances as required.
• Draft and answer discovery requests.
• Respond to new legal matters and develop appropriate responses and strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in Pennsylvania.
• 1-3 years of personal injury law experience.
• Trial experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in conducting thorough legal research using various resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education:
