Job Overview: A well-established law firm located in Woodstock, GA is seeking a highly motivated Estate Planning Attorney. This role involves guiding clients through estate planning processes, providing legal counsel, and managing cases related to wills, trusts, and estate law. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a caseload independently while collaborating with a legal team to ensure clients' goals are met effectively and promptly.

Duties:

  • Conduct planning meetings with clients to assess their estate planning needs
  • Develop legal strategies and solutions to meet client goals
  • Educate clients on estate planning options, providing clear guidance and addressing any questions
  • Collect necessary documentation and details to formulate estate plans
  • Maintain relationships with clients through ongoing follow-ups

  • Serve as the main attorney contact for estate planning matters

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Georgia Bar, in good standing
  • Experience in wills, trusts, estate law, or related practice areas
  • Strong negotiation and reconciliation skills to help clients find mutually beneficial solutions
  • Excellent communication and client engagement abilities
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity
  • Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Bar License in Georgia
