Litigation Attorney

A prominent law firm focused on creditors’ rights and foreclosure litigation is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Litigation Attorney for its New Jersey offices. This role involves representing creditors in foreclosure cases and providing strategic legal guidance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in foreclosure law, strong litigation abilities, and a commitment to high-quality advocacy.

Duties

• Represent creditors in foreclosure litigation cases, managing court appearances, motions, and trials
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other essential legal documents
• Provide counsel and guidance to clients regarding foreclosure and creditors’ rights issues
• Negotiate settlements and pursue favorable resolutions on behalf of clients
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal staff for efficient case management
• Stay informed on current changes in foreclosure and creditors’ rights laws and regulations

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the New Jersey State Bar
• 2 to 4 years of experience in foreclosure litigation and creditors’ rights
• In-depth knowledge of New Jersey foreclosure and creditors’ rights laws and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage a high caseload and perform under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey
