Job Overview: A law firm in Englewood, CO, seeks a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of jurisdiction experience in general litigation, including foreclosure and REO-related litigation. Job Duties:

  • Manage cases from assignment to conclusion, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Draft court pleadings, legal memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Oversee discovery matters, including conducting and defending depositions, filings, and motion defense.
  • Independently represent clients at court hearings (live and telephonic) and mediations.
  • Conduct internal and external training on legal topics relevant to the firm's practice areas.
  • Communicate directly with the firm’s clients, providing updates and strategic advice.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of jurisdiction experience in general litigation, ideally with foreclosure and REO-related litigation experience.
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
  • Admitted to all federal district courts within the state or willing to become admitted.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload efficiently.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
