A law firm seeks a motivated Attorney to join its Irvine, CA office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the legal team by managing a variety of cases and providing high-quality legal services under the supervision of experienced attorneys and partners. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong organizational skills.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and WestLaw.
  • Draft and edit legal documents, including correspondence, applications, petitions, and motions, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Prepare and deliver client-facing presentations, including PowerPoint materials.
  • Present case facts on behalf of clients during company meetings.
  • Negotiate business and financial contracts for diverse companies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address their legal needs and provide informed recommendations, highlighting potential concerns and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar is required; admission to additional state bars or the Chinese bar is preferred.
  • Experience or expertise in a related legal field is a plus.
  • Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw and MyCase.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and Google Workspace applications.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active California State Bar license.
