A law firm seeks a qualified Corporate Attorney to join its team in Greenwich, CT. This position is suitable for candidates with three to five years of practice experience in corporate law, either in a law firm or as in-house counsel. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of commercial and business matters, providing counsel to a diverse range of clients.

Duties

  • Provide legal guidance on business formation and corporate governance matters.
  • Deliver General Counsel services and ensure corporate compliance and housekeeping.
  • Negotiate and draft various business contracts and agreements.
  • Assist with business sales and acquisitions, providing strategic legal support.
  • Manage commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and leases.
  • Review and draft construction contracts for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Conduct title, survey, and zoning reviews related to real estate transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and support.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the relevant state Bar Association.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney or in-house counsel.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the relevant state Bar.
