Duties:

  • Actively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters.
  • Represent clients in court and handle associated legal proceedings.
  • Travel for court appearances and client meetings as required.
  • Apply knowledge of consumer credit collections, state laws regarding consumer collections, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with clients.
  • Exhibit a commitment to superior client care by promptly addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to strategize and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar.
  • Strong working knowledge of consumer credit collections, state laws related to consumer collections, and FDCPA.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Ability to handle court appearances and travel as necessary.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar.

Skills:
