Insurance Defense Attorney

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including bodily injury, construction defects, and employment-related cases.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to each case and client.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and arbitration.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide sound legal advice.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in the best interest of clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure high-quality legal services.
• Maintain communication with clients to keep them informed about case progress.
• Attend and participate in continuing legal education (CLE) to stay current with legal developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Experience in managing insurance defense cases, focusing on bodily injury defense, construction defects, and employment matters.
• Proven ability to think creatively and strategically to meet client needs.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional licensure in other states.
