Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience and be licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Duties

• Manage a caseload of litigation matters, from case initiation through resolution.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to devise case strategies and provide client guidance.
• Maintain clear communication with clients to keep them informed on case developments.
• Conduct legal research and prepare strategies to address complex legal issues.
• Assist with settlement negotiations and dispute resolution efforts.
• Manage multiple ongoing cases with attention to deadlines and client needs.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation.
• Prior experience in insurance defense is a plus.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record of handling complex cases and effectively advocating in court.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a caseload efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bars (must be licensed to practice in both states).
