Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled Securities Attorney with extensive experience in managing structured securities offerings. The ideal candidate will focus on commercial real estate law, specializing in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. This is a non-partnership track role offering the opportunity to work with top-tier clients, including public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors. The position offers a hybrid work environment, with a regular in-office presence and some flexibility for work-from-home.

Duties:

  • Manage structured securities offerings for real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
  • Represent public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in a variety of transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel on complex transactions involving restructurings, financing, and acquisitions.
  • Conduct legal research and drafting, ensuring quality work product and adherence to deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and business judgment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
  • Strong background in commercial real estate law with a focus on real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle competing demands and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in Washington State (WA).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and problem-solving.
