In this role, the Senior Criminal Defense Attorney will manage a caseload, represent clients in legal matters, and work alongside a talented group of legal professionals.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel to clients regarding their rights and options
• Draft and file legal documents, including motions and legal briefs
• Represent clients in pretrial hearings, trials, and depositions
• Advise clients on case strategies and potential outcomes
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, focusing on key facts and strategies
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Gather additional evidence to strengthen the defense or counter-prosecution claims
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal assistants to manage a diverse range of cases
• Ensure case files and documentation are maintained accurately and up to date

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense law
• Proven track record handling complex cases at the federal, state, and local levels
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Superior interpersonal and client management skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Nevada

Certifications:

• Bar Admission in Nevada required

Skills:

• Expertise in criminal defense law, including case strategy and legal research
• Strong legal writing and documentation skills
• Experience in trial preparation, depositions, and court appearances
• Ability to analyze legal precedents and apply them effectively to cases
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
