A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its office in Akron, Ohio. This position focuses on representing clients in various commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. The role involves close collaboration with clients, providing strategic legal counsel, and managing multiple projects in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

  • Represent clients, including lenders, buyers, and sellers, in diverse real estate transactions such as commercial leasing, financing, acquisitions, and sales.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and practical solutions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and other transactional documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in commercial real estate law within a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Proficient in drafting, research, analysis, and legal writing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Ohio or eligibility to obtain an Ohio Bar license.
