Intake Attorney

Job Overview:

A leading law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated Intake Attorney to join their team. This role focuses on assessing the viability of potential cases and engaging with clients in areas such as wrongful death, traumatic brain injury (TBI), catastrophic injury, workplace retaliation, unpaid wages, and wrongful termination. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of empathizing with clients while persuasively advocating for the firm’s strengths. This position involves managing client expectations, traveling to meet with potential clients, and guiding them through the intake process.

Location:

• Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Assess the viability of potential cases in personal injury and employment law.
• Communicate the firm's strengths and capabilities to potential clients, convincing them to sign on.
• Address client concerns and provide case updates, including during nights and weekends as needed.
• Travel to meet and sign clients at various locations.
• Guide potential clients through each step of the intake process.
• Ensure smooth communication and case progression for new clients.

Requirements:

• Active and good-standing license with the California State Bar.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to close deals.
• Minimum of two years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury or employment law.
• Ability to be both empathetic and persuasive in client communications.
• Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation processes in personal injury and employment law cases.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar membership.

Skills:

• Strong sales and communication skills.
• Ability to empathize with clients while effectively advocating for the firm’s services.
• Knowledge of personal injury and employment law processes.
• Ability to manage time effectively and address client needs outside of traditional work hours.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
