Mid-level Structured Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY is seeking a Mid-level Structured Finance Associate Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic legal environment.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to structured finance transactions, securitization, and CLOs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents such as offering memoranda, agreements, and disclosures.
• Assist in due diligence processes and prepare related reports for clients.
• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and business professionals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
• Participate in meetings, conference calls, and other firm-related activities as required.
• Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned by supervising attorneys.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New York State, active and in good standing.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLOs at a reputable law firm.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and sound business judgment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
