Associate Attorney needed for Washington, DC office

A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a highly qualified Associate Attorney with a background in the biological sciences and expertise in intellectual property (IP) matters related to life sciences. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of substantive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent analyses, and supporting various IP matters in cutting-edge technologies such as gene editing, cellular therapies, antibody-based therapeutics, and molecular diagnostics. Duties:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications in the life sciences field.
• Conduct patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
