Duties:

• Drafting and submitting appellate briefs and legal memoranda
• Arguing cases in appellate courts, including state and federal appellate courts
• Providing legal counsel in complex appeals, including at the U.S. Supreme Court level
• Engaging in research and developing strategies for key motions and issue preservation at the trial court level
• Collaborating with senior partners and associates on strategic case planning and argument preparation
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and delivering legal work that meets exceptional standards of excellence

Requirements:

• Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Prior judicial clerkship experience, preferably with a federal or state appellate court
• Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach to legal practice
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple complex cases simultaneously
• Excellent academic credentials with a strong law school background

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to practice law in DC.
