Duties

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Provide legal counsel and strategies to clients in civil disputes.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case preparation and strategy development.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring effective communication and timely updates.
• Assist in the negotiation and settlement of cases when appropriate.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
• 1-3 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Client-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering results.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar is required.

Skills

• Civil litigation experience.
• Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken).
