Duties

• Provide compliance advice and counseling on employment law matters.
• Prepare and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and other personnel-related contracts and policies.
• Represent clients in litigation matters, including trade secrets, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and whistleblower cases.
• Conduct due diligence and draft employment-related agreements as part of corporate mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
• Collaborate directly with clients, providing timely and practical legal advice.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in employment law compliance, litigation, and transactional work.
• Proficiency in handling complex legal matters involving employment and labor issues.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills to engage clients and explain complex legal matters.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
