The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal law, with significant experience handling felony cases, including jury trials. Applicants should be passionate about advocating for clients and be licensed to practice law in Florida.

Duties:

• Represent clients in criminal defense and DUI cases, including pre-trial motions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Manage a caseload of criminal cases, ensuring all matters are handled in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery motions, and trial briefs.
• Conduct client interviews, provide legal advice, and develop defense strategies.
• Appear in court regularly for hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials.
• Collaborate with legal team members, investigators, and experts to build a strong defense.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in criminal defense, including felony jury trials.
• Experience with DUI defense is a plus.
• Strong understanding of criminal law, court procedures, and trial tactics.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
