A law firm seeks a full-time litigation associate attorney to join its personal injury practice. While experience in personal injury litigation is preferred, the firm is willing to provide training for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop or advance their litigation skills in a busy practice environment.

Duties:

  • Assist in managing personal injury cases from intake to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
  • Communicate with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Washington State, in good standing.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes.
  • Ability to handle personal injury cases and navigate court proceedings.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Client relationship management and negotiation skills.
