Supervising Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Supervising Attorney to join their team.

Job Overview:

The Supervising Attorney will manage a significant caseload and oversee a team of Case Managers. This role involves providing informative and compassionate client service, collaborating with various departments, and communicating daily with clients regarding legal strategy and treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in Personal Injury law, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to supervise and provide guidance.

Duties:

• Manage a significant caseload and a team of Case Managers.
• Provide informative and compassionate client service.
• Collaborate with multiple departments, including Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiation, and Liens.
• Communicate daily with clients regarding legal strategy and treatment plans.
• Analyze fact patterns to help clear coverage and establish liability.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 2 years of experience in Personal Injury law.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and provide guidance and counsel.
• Experience settling cases in the pre-litigation stage.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Legal expertise in Personal Injury law.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and provide guidance.
• Proficiency in analyzing fact patterns.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
