Duties:

• Handle state and federal litigation matters, including personal injury claims
• Perform case assessments, legal research, and drafting of legal documents
• Prepare and present cases in court, including depositions, hearings, and trials
• Collaborate with the legal team and independently manage casework
• Maintain client communication and case management
• Provide legal advice and represent clients in settlement negotiations
• Review and analyze evidence to build strong case strategies
• Ensure all documentation and filings are completed in a timely manner
• Meet or exceed firm billable hour goals

Requirements:

• 3-10 years of litigation experience, particularly in personal injury law
• Ability to handle both state and federal litigation cases
• Strong presentation, research, and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in legal work
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Ability to manage complex cases with attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Florida State Bar License (required)
