Job Overview:
A law firm located in Clayton, MO, is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney to join its expanding Intellectual Property practice group. This role offers the opportunity to represent clients in trademark matters and disputes on regional, national, and international levels. Candidates will work closely with a dynamic team of skilled trademark practitioners known for their mentorship and training.

Duties:

• Handle trademark clearance, filing strategy, and prosecution.
• Conduct enforcement investigations and draft cease and desist letters regarding trademark infringement.
• Negotiate co-existence and settlement agreements in trademark matters.
• Provide transactional support related to advertising law, intellectual property, and technology licensing.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues on various trademark-related issues.

Requirements:

• Active law license.
• A minimum of 5+ years of trademark experience is preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered if they possess excellent training and relevant experience.
• Strong research, writing, and critical-thinking skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
