Associate Attorney needed for Miami office

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm specializing in consumer retail banking and financial services litigation is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Florida office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience and be licensed to practice in Florida. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, but candidates must reside within the state.

Location:

• Miami, FL

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analyze case details, evidence, client documentation, and applicable law

• Interpret case law and decisions from relevant courts, assessing their impact on current cases

• Draft defensive motions, including motions for protective orders and motions to quash

• Prepare pleadings, motions, legal memorandums, and settlement agreements

• Advocate for clients in court proceedings before judges or juries

• Handle matters related to cyber liability, if applicable

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Florida

• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team setting

• Highly motivated and self-driven professional

• Strong business acumen and professionalism

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar
