Job Overview: The law firm seeks a highly motivated Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in a major law firm. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, superior communication skills, and be a WA State Bar member.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity transactions.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary documents.
  • Assist in due diligence investigations and preparation of due diligence reports.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on M&A and private equity matters.
  • Participate in negotiations with opposing counsel and clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on client matters.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and regulations relevant to M&A and private equity.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar.
  • 3-4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity at a major law firm.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
