Senior Litigation Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Independently manage a caseload in insurance defense litigation.
• Handle motions, attend depositions, and oversee all aspects of case management.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and, if needed, trials.
• Collaborate with marketing partners to cultivate and build client relationships.
• Represent clients in court and provide strategic litigation support.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and provide legal advice to clients.
• Engage in business development activities and client cultivation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and handle all phases of litigation.
• Admission to the New York Bar (NJ or PA admission a plus, but not required).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Trial experience preferred, but not required.
• Portable business is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York (NJ or PA Bar admission is a bonus).
