Business Attorney

Cleveland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a business attorney with 3-5 years of experience in corporate business and transactional law. The candidate will, directly and indirectly, contribute to the financial success of the firm. Deliver excellent customer service and quick follow-up to internal and external clients. Prepare correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents. Monitor routine to complex corporate legal matters to formulate the next course of action and ensure deadlines are maintained. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations and provide authoritative legal advice for individuals and businesses. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Provide appropriate mentoring and serve as a resource for less experienced junior associates. Engage in business development, amplifying firm services to prospective and new clients on an ongoing basis. Represent and promote the firm within the community and at public, social, and business gatherings. Assign and review the work of department staff, as required. Should ideally have 3-5 years of related experience in drafting corporate documents, contract reviews, commercial agreements, and complex business transactions. Must have admission to the Ohio Bar.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctorate. Solid writing, analytical, and research skills are required. Great interpersonal skills are needed. Should ideally have a strong work ethic, confidence, a good sense of humor, and a collaborative attitude. Must be ready to handle a variety of legal matters.
