A law firm seeks an Attorney Specialist to join its Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) practice group. This permanent, non-partnership track role is ideal for attorneys with a strong interest in asset management and investment fund matters, particularly derivatives transactions and repurchase agreements. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a team dedicated to supporting registered investment companies such as mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds.

Duties

  • Collaborate with partners and associates to support mutual fund client relationships.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for derivatives and repurchase agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance on regulatory compliance and transaction structures.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to address client-specific needs.
  • Assist with managing projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in asset management or investment fund-related legal matters.
