Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Freehold, NJ. This full-time position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills. Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload involving family law, criminal law, and general liability matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare documents related to litigation.
• Participate in out-of-court negotiations and prepare for trial proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and colleagues to ensure smooth case management.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and office staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Engage in networking and marketing efforts to generate new clients for the firm.
• Stay updated on legal developments and maintain proficiency in advanced legal techniques.

Requirements

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.
• 0-10 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on family and criminal law preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while efficiently managing time and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster professional relationships with court officials, judges, and clients.
• Comfort in public speaking and client interactions.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in New Jersey is required.
