Job Details:

• Conduct thorough title examinations for oil and gas properties in North Dakota, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on oil and gas leases, contracts, and transactions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including leases, agreements, and oil and gas operations contracts.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide clients with strategic guidance on land use, environmental regulations, and property rights.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigation proceedings as necessary.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and case law developments affecting the oil and gas sector.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in North Dakota oil and gas title examination.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
• Strong academic background with a J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.
• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to promptly obtain admission to the State Bar of North Dakota.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-Accredited Law School.
