Estate Planning Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a skilled and experienced Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join its High Net Worth Planning group in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting estate planning documents, tax mitigation strategies, and charitable planning, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients to develop tailored estate plans that align with their financial goals. A hybrid work arrangement may be available after the initial onboarding period.

Duties:

• Draft and review estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts.
• Advise clients on charitable planning and tax mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive estate plans that address their unique goals and financial situations.
• Provide clear and effective communication with clients throughout the estate planning process.
• Stay up to date with relevant tax laws and estate planning regulations to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with the High Net Worth Planning group to deliver outstanding legal services.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in estate planning, with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
• Expertise in drafting complex estate planning documents, including trusts and charitable planning strategies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining client relationships and providing exceptional service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• LL.M. in Taxation (required).

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents and implementing tax mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
