Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is currently seeking an Entry-Level Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic litigation team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on experience across various stages of litigation, working closely with experienced attorneys. The selected candidate will have the chance to develop essential legal skills while contributing to the firm’s efforts in managing complex litigation cases.

Duties:

• Analyze and investigate litigation matters, including reviewing case files and legal documents.

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and develop sound arguments to support litigation strategies.

• Assist senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, including but not limited to motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Prepare, draft, and review motions, briefs, and discovery documents.

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings as needed.

• Manage a caseload, ensuring timely compliance with legal deadlines.

• Support litigation efforts by communicating with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders.

• Travel across the state, including occasional overnight stays, for case-related activities.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.

• Valid driver’s license in Minnesota.

• 0-3 years of litigation experience.

• Ability to manage complex matters with diligence and attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel within the state as necessary.

• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota (Required).

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
