Duties:

  • Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.
  • Represent private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel and support throughout the transaction process.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.
  • Draft and review legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate debt finance.
  • Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.
  • Experience representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions is preferred.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience in an Am Law 100 law firm is advantageous.
  • Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
  • Admission to the Texas Bar.
