Associate Attorney needed for Tacoma office

A law firm based in Tacoma, WA, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to focus on Creditors' Rights, Commercial Collections, and Bankruptcy matters. The successful candidate will represent a diverse clientele, including national and regional banks, institutional lenders, nontraditional lenders, equipment financiers, Fortune 500 companies, and multi-million dollar judgment creditors across Washington, California, and Oregon. This role requires expertise in creditors' rights, judgment enforcement, and bankruptcy cases, with a commitment to high-quality legal services and professional development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in Creditors' Rights, Commercial Collections, and Bankruptcy matters, including national and regional banks, institutional lenders, nontraditional lenders, equipment financiers, Fortune 500 companies, and multi-million dollar judgment creditors.
• Handle various aspects of creditors' rights in commercial collections, judgment enforcement matters, and bankruptcy cases.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and professionals to deliver high-quality legal services.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance legal skills and stay current with industry trends.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely and effective representation of clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to creditors' rights, collections, and bankruptcy proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and decisions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Creditors' Rights, Commercial Collections, and Bankruptcy law.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Currently licensed to practice law in the state of Washington or California.
• Proven ability to represent clients in complex creditors' rights and bankruptcy matters.
• Strong communication, research, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Washington or California.
