Location:

Duties:

  • Lead and manage cases in litigation, real estate, construction, and creditor's rights practice areas.
  • Represent clients in court, including all types of court appearances.
  • Provide legal counsel and develop strategies for complex cases.
  • Oversee and guide junior associates, providing mentorship and legal expertise.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring adherence to court schedules and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and initiative in managing a busy caseload.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation, real estate, construction, and creditor's rights.
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior associates.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
