Duties:

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status and legal strategies.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Draft and respond to legal motions.
  • Lead mediations and develop comprehensive case strategies.
  • Take cases to trial, serving as 1st chair in jury trials.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
  • Proven track record as 1st chair in jury trials.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
  • In-depth knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the legal team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Ohio Bar membership is required.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Ohio.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal technologies and software.
  • Strong negotiation and client advocacy skills.
