Duties:

• Represent clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
• Mentor junior associates and provide supervision and guidance on their work.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and discovery demands.
• Lead depositions and manage complex case files and documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Organize and maintain case files and related documentation.
• Manage client schedules and appointments efficiently.
• Represent clients during court hearings, negotiations, and mediations.
• Settle cases and advocate for clients in all stages of litigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney.
• Proven experience handling divorce, child custody, and other family law matters.
• Ability to bill 6 hours per day consistently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Minnesota.

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of family law procedures and regulations.
