A law firm in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with 2-3 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of litigation matters, including Creditor’s Rights Litigation, under the supervision of Senior Attorneys.

Duties:

  • Conduct evidentiary hearings, research legal issues, and draft motion practice, discovery, and appeals.
  • Advocate for clients in court proceedings and take/defend depositions.
  • Assist with the firm’s Creditor’s Rights Litigation Practice, including handling hearings in the state of Florida.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and monitor their progress, providing guidance as needed.
  • Develop effective strategies to efficiently resolve cases and provide status updates, legal analysis, and strategy recommendations to clients.
  • Review loan documents, financials, and demand letters for foreclosure actions.
  • Draft and review pleadings and correspondence related to litigation matters.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and compliance with local, state, and federal legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar (FL Bar Membership).
  • 2-3 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on Creditor’s Rights Litigation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and analytical skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer and office software applications.
  • Understanding of basic principles of Quality Assurance/Quality Control is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar (FL Bar Membership).
