Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks energy project development attorney with 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house. The candidate will provide legal support for energy project development, particularly renewable energy projects, for public power, cooperative and tribal communities. Must preferably have membership in one US State Bar. Relevant Experience includes: Representation of public power, cooperative, and/or tribal utilities; Renewable project development; Project financing, including tax incentives, grants, and Federal and commercial financing resources; Drafting and negotiation of generator interconnection processes and agreements; Negotiation of energy project contracts; Negotiation of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts; Negotiation of public-private contracts; Negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs); Advising on transmission pricing and planning; Corporate Law, especially structuring and managing special purpose vehicles for renewable projects.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree.
