Duties:

  • Advise clients on commercial and corporate matters related to alcohol distribution and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to alcohol distribution and commercialization.
  • Manage legal aspects of alcohol beverage distribution, including licensing and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations to support legal strategies and client advice.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings and negotiations with regulatory agencies.
  • Oversee and facilitate the progress of legal projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to client objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address legal concerns and provide practical, risk-based advice.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in alcohol beverage, commercial, corporate law, or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Experience with FDA or food regulatory matters is a plus.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex legal matters and projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload with competing deadlines.
  • Self-starter with solid judgment and ability to work under pressure.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia.

  • Experience in commercial corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
