A law firm seeks a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. This role is ideal for an attorney with less than 7 years of experience in civil litigation, business law, and real estate law. Duties:

  • Manage and handle a diverse portfolio of civil litigation, business litigation, and real estate litigation cases.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business and real estate transaction documents.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare detailed legal memoranda, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in the development of case strategies, ensuring high-quality legal representation.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction with case progress.
  • Stay up to date on relevant legal developments in civil litigation, business law, and real estate law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania (New Jersey license is a plus).
  • Less than 7 years of experience in civil litigation, business law, and real estate law.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Bar license.
  • New Jersey Bar license is preferred but not required.

Skills:

  • Civil litigation experience, particularly in business and real estate law.
  • Legal research and writing proficiency.
